How a game of Big Two works here
- Open a table on the TV. Press Create table on a TV or laptop everyone can see. It shows a QR code.
- Everyone joins from their phone. Scan the code, pick a name, sit down. No app, no account.
- Play. The TV shows the play to beat and how many cards everyone has left. Your phone holds your thirteen cards and your Play and Pass buttons.
At the table
- 4 players, and bots for empty seats at 3 levels: Good, Great, Pro. A friend who arrives late takes a bot's seat, even mid-deal.
- House rules to start: Hong Kong's, with any card allowed as your last. The table can change 8 rules, each to the way other places play it.
- A match is 8 deals unless you choose another length. Cards left in your hand count against you, and the lowest total wins.
- Your phone says what the cards you pick make, and whether they beat the play on the table.
- A turn clock, so one slow player can't stall the table.
- Friends who aren't playing can watch from their phones.
- Points only. There's nothing to buy and nothing to win.
